*Formerly CEO of the Palo Alto Chamber of Commerce, Susan is the Coordinator of the Alliance, a community of businesses who believe that a healthy and prosperous future for California depends on a clean, green and efficient economy. The Alliance provides supporting businesses with opportunities to make their collective and individual voices heard in support of full and complete implementation of AB32, California’s landmark legislative effort to build a clean energy future. Organizations with a vested interest in old, dirty energy and those who doubt out ability to innovate and thrive are working to delay and derail implementation of AB 32. The Alliance is committed to making the California legislature and Governor know that the progressive business community is large, articulate, forceful, and absolutely committed to full implementation of smart climate change public policy.
**David is one of the founders of the rapidly growing American Sustainable Business Council, which is a national coalition representing sustainable and socially responsible businesses. The Council supports the transition to a new economy grounded in principles of sustainability and equity. It represents more than 20,000 businesses and more than 150,000 entrepreneurs, executives, business professionals, and others. Partners in the Council include Sustainable Business Alliance, BALLE, Green America, New Voice of Business, B Laboratory, Social Venture Network, and Social Enterprise Alliance.
